There’s something about hitting “publish” that still scares me.Even after all this time, all these issues, and all this growth—fear still finds a way to whisper, “Who are you to share this?”
But lately, I’ve been asking a harder question back:“Who am I not to?”
That’s how I knew something had to shift.
When I first started Creative Insider, it was meant to be a creative journal—lessons from my business, stories from design work, the behind-the-scenes of building things. But over time, it became something deeper. The posts that resonated most weren’t just about creating—they were about becoming.
About faith.About fear.About the tension between knowing you’re called and still being scared to move.
Somewhere between my prayers and my deadlines, I realized:I wasn’t just creating things—I was becoming someone.
And the more I wrote, the more I outgrew the box I built for myself.“Creative Insider” started to feel too small for the kind of wholeness I wanted to express. So here we are… still in progress.
Why In Progress?
Because that’s what I am.That’s what we all are.
It’s not a rebrand as much as a release—a permission slip to keep showing up even when the story’s unfinished and unpolished.
This new chapter will hold everything:faith and doubt, clarity and confusion, business and belief. Some days it’ll sound like strategy. Some days it’ll sound like prayer. But all of it will be honest.
What to Expect
In this space, you can expect:
Personal reflections on faith, fear, and creative growth
Open letters to myself, to God, and probably to you, too
Behind-the-scenes honesty from a woman figuring it out with God in real time
Community conversations — because your story matters here, too
A Note to You
If you’ve been reading since Creative Insider, thank you for growing with me.If you’re new here, welcome—you’re right on time.
My hope is that In Progress reminds you that your process isn’t a punishment. That God’s not waiting on you to be perfect, just present.
And that even here—in the middle of it all—you’re still becoming.

If this resonated, leave a comment or share this post.Tell me one area of your life you’re currently in progress with—I’d love to read them and have a conversation…you’re never alone.
We’re growing, healing, and learning in real time.Together.
All Is Well— Ashlee Nicole
